Early March

Caedmon has become super responsive, just in the last week or two. It's been so much fun. He loves playing in the jungle, and he really seems to be able to focus on things, voices, people, etc. After being quite stingy for a long time with his smiles, we are now being blessed by HUGE smiles and big laughs and giggles. It is wonderful. For a baby, he's sleeping pretty well too. He does 3-4 hour stints at night and takes about 3 good naps during the day. Still just a happy little guy as long as he can eat and sleep when needed. We moved him into his own room this week (the guest room, since Kees isn't quite ready to vacate the crib yet) so that has been a bit of an adjustment (mostly just for me since I have to haul my tired buns out of bed at night to feed him), but overall that's been a good thing. It feels like he's growing too fast!

Just because he makes me laugh. Candy Land is a big hit at our house right now. 

So strong and alert! This is at about 6 weeks I think.

The boys hair was getting ridiculously long so we did our first buzz cut ever. I have mixed feelings. It's nice to have it short, but I think it suites Kees a bit more than Calvin. But at least it will be longer before we have to deal with it again. This smile was just before the tears and screams began. The razor was not a hit with either of the boys.
