Mid-November

The last couple months have consisted of me hanging out at home with Calvin and Kees while Matthew works long and hard to finish up his dissertation. His first draft is due January 15, and his final draft February 15. Then he will be DONE!!! So, we're in the home stretch.

One discovery I have made is that winter is really hard. SoCal spoiled us with babies. It was so lovely to be able to go out for walks with baby Calvin in the winter months. That is not the case this time, and there is a toddler in the house that seriously needs to be run. Chelan is a great little town, but because it's little there just isn't much to do. So, that has been a major challenge but we are figuring out new games to play and things to do and books to read to keep from going crazy in the house all day.

In mid-November we had our first snow! Calvin loved it.

And, of course ... one must sweep and spray the snow. That is very important.

Our sweet little one, around 4 weeks old.

Calvin making his mischief grin.

Sweet little one.

Another troubling little smile ... this is the "how hard can I touch the baby before he cries?" face. Yikes.

And kisses! A good outlet for the need to be by baby.

Naps with Daddy.

Getting ready to play outside with Henry. Just thought he looked especially cute.

Sweet, strong little Kees!
